I have finally done it! Yes, my blog has had it’s first month of income. It is very small but everyone needs to start somewhere. The month of December is very slow month for the internet, so hopefully I can really step it up in January.

My earnings came from MarketLeverage. For the month of December I made $42.65. Like, I said it is really low but for me it is a start to something great. That $42.65 will cover a few of my costs for the month of January basically all for VisualEffect.

If anyone was following I was in 3rd place on TylerCruz’s marketing challenge in route to win a $125 gift card but in the last week I got beat.

Figured it would be time for me to post my goals for 2009. I could sit here and type that I want to make this amount of money, have this many rss subscribers and how I plan on making all this money but I’m not going too. I am a new blogger struggling every day just in hope to come on and see that 1 comment, to know someone is reading and something in that post made them comment.

MY GOAL!!
My ultimate for this blog and 2009 is to establish a decent blog. I am not trying to hit the 8-run-homer to win game 7 of the World Series, I am looking to get that single to win the season opener in the new stadium. The New York Yankees have a brand new stadium this year and I can bet you all Derek Jeter wants to do when he steps in that box for the first time is hit a line drive up the middle and reach first base. For me I am entering a whole new blogging world and I just want to start off on the right foot.

I want this so bad. Wall-E was one of my favorite movies this year and this video is just the best.

Update: I just got home, I took about 40-50 pictures of about every billboard lol. I got bored and just started clicking the button like a tourist. I mean, hey, I have to practice for Italy! I will upload the pictures tomorrow.

Sunday will be the first day picture will be introduced to this blog. I am heading into NYC for the day. Attending mass at ST. Patrick’s Cathedral then going to see the tree at night. I will be taking a lot of pictures. Probably won’t be able to upload them till Monday but there is a lot coming.

The last few weeks have seen me return to playing video games. My team VisualEffect is back and we are playing counter-strike 1.6. So most of my attention has been with the team.

Today is my 18th Birthday!!!

I can never make up my mind…… Do I want to blog how to make money? Do I want to blog on my favorite sports teams? or should I just do my everyday life?….. Well I THINK, I got it figured out this time. I am not a successful blogger YET, or at least I would like to be come one. I consider my self a new and young blogger. Age doesn’t play a key in blogging. Some people are 16 years old and are already a “pro blogger” lets say.

Then you have a 30 year old, just starting his/her first blog and being a complete rookie. It is all trial and error, just like everything else in this world. So today at 12:11 AM, my journey begins to ACTUALLY start my blog and make a run to the top.

Hey everyone, sorry for the shortage of posting the last view days. I am back now with an interesting video for everyone to watch. I know my About me page is not finished yet. Today is the day were I say goodbye to Optimum Online and hello to Verizon FIOS!!!!! As I am writing this the tech is outside running the fiber optic line to the house. I ordered this two weeks ago and have been waiting ever since. Not only will I have faster internet but I also will have better TV too. A lot more channels and If I want to add a package, the price compared to Optimum Online is a no brainier.

Later on today when the installation is all done, I will post the new speed results with FIOS. I know what the difference is going to be, I just can’t wait to see it.

That is double the speed and upload for a cheaper price. Someone tell me if I am wrong here, cause I believe I’m not.
